Modeling in San Francisco




A few weeks ago, I had the amazing opportunity to do a shoot with a friend of mine on a rooftop in San Francisco! A rooftop shoot has always been on my to-do list, so I definitely couldn't say no!

~To preface all of this, it was about 100 degrees in Walnut Creek that day, so we expected a high 70-80 degrees in SF, with a beautiful sunset.

San Francisco was beautiful, but it was about 65 degrees when we got there! This really sweet family that my friend knew let us use their rooftop, and they had an incredible view of the water. We got inside the home and decided on outfits and lipstick colors, and then headed up the stairs to the rooftop.


We definitely underestimated the wind power that exists in San Francisco, so we were instantly thrust into the wind! It was a little hard to stand, and even keep my eyes open, but it was so much fun!

I have to say, my makeup somehow stayed on throughout the intense wind, so cruelty free makeup can totally hold up next to some of the more popular brands!

I am back!

Hey guys! So here's an update on what has been going on my life during my hiatus!  I won Miss Los Gatos USA and will be competing in the Miss California USA Pageant in January! With my win, I will have many appearances and charity events to attend so I will be very busy! I am going to focus a lot on my schoolwork, health and fitness as I prepare for the next few months before Miss CA. I am super excited and will be sure to keep my blog updated with things going on in my life and ways that I have found happiness through the simple grace of God. The Beauty of Gardening

My favorite part of spring is all the new vegetation! I get so excited every time I see a tiny flower sprouting along the side of a trail. One of my favorite ways to celebrate this season is to get out and garden.  I personally am always running around busy, but I made some time early this year to get out and garden. I took a gardening course at my college where we learned about native California plants, and that really sparked my interest. I planted a few natives around the garden and propagated some house plants for myself as a token!  Here is some of the Rainbow Chard I planted:  One of my favorite ways to get grounded is being in nature.
