♡ Quick & Lazy Summer Vegan Milkshake ♡

I swear I've been living off of smoothies this summer because I am lazy and way too overheated to actually cook a meal. Growing up, I loved a good milkshake, but ever since I went vegan, I thought it would be difficult to try and come up with a recipe of my own that made the cut.  I don't know why it took me so long, but this summer became the summer for vegan milkshakes! If you know about banana nice cream, then you know the creamy power of a frozen banana. This shake only has 5 ingredients, so its quick and easy :) Vegan Strawberry Banana Milkshake  Ingredients: 1 cup frozen strawberries 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1 ripe frozen banana 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any non-dairy milk) 1 tsp chia seeds to garnish ~ Blend it all up and enjoy ~ * I honestly usually eyeball everything so you can't get it wrong* The best summer milkshake with minimal effort!! What's your favorite summer smoothie recipe?

My Favorite Vegan Winter Drink

Even though California weather can be very unpredictable, it has been rather cold the past few weeks! As the temperature drops, my daily tea intake increases substantially (even though I already drink an unhealthy amount on normal days).  Some of my favorite teas are chai and earl grey, with a touch of cream. Lately, I have been warming and frothing my cream which is a total game changer! This  Sur La Table frother is similar to mine, and not too expensive either :)  With all that said, my go-to drink this winter has been a cacao chai tea latte! ♡ Starbucks mug from Disneyland Resort Anaheim  ♡ Simple Vegan Cacao Chai Tea Recipe: Ingredients -1 tsp loose leaf chai tea -1 tbsp organic cacao powder -1 tbsp coconut sugar or agave -3 tbsp non-dairy creamer or milk -dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice Directions -Prepare loose leaf tea in an infuser and place in mug with cacao powder -Pour almost boiling water into mug and let tea and cacao

Favorite Summer Products | Cruelty Free

This summer, I have been loving all the fruity products that I can get my hands on! From all natural face masks, to cruelty free hair products, I have been so in love with all the new items I have been trying! I have heard so much about Korean skincare, and how revolutionary that it can be for your skin, so I did some research and found Frudia ! Frudia is a Korean skincare company whose products are filled with natural fruit juices and extracts, giving you the essential nutrients you need without all the chemicals! I picked up the Green Grape Pore Control Mask , at my local Ulta, and it is super hydrating while also tightening pores! I also met with the founder of  MopTop Hair  while at the Natural Food and Product Expo West this past year. She was so sweet and sent me home with a few samples and I was automatically obsessed with not only the delicious smell of the products, but the way it made my hair feel! The Mongongo Oil  smells amazing and hydrates your hair

Winter Essentials!

I love winter. I love the rain, the candles, the hot cocoa, Christmas shopping & everything in between! One thing I'm definitely obsessed with right now is plaid! I found this adorable plaid craft paper at Michaels Stores , and this perfect plaid hair scrunchie from Goody Hair ! Some of my other favorite goodies are the Jolly Gloss by Kylie Cosmetics , and the winter eyeshadow kit from Chanel Makeup ! I've also included in the photo, a candle that smells like delicious ripes apples, and a gorgeously wrapped bar of soap that I've received as a gift :) What are some of your winter favs? Happy Holidays!

Vegan Handbags

One of the biggest struggles I have been having lately is finding a vegan handbag. Kate Spade used to be my go-to bag, but since they literally have ZERO vegan bags, I had to do some searching. Now I know what you're thinking. Vegan bags can't be as luxurious or well quality as real cow leather. But you're wrong! Not only can vegan bags be beautiful and durable, but you will also be contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry :) One of my favorite brands is  Urban Expressions ! They have so many styles and their prices are insanely affordable. Check out my top 5 from their online store! Hudson November Pebbled Savannah Duke Ivy What do you think?! Check out all their styles at www.urbanexpressions.net :) What are your favorite vegan handbags? Let me know in the comments!

A Vegan Thanksgiving

This is my first  Thanksgiving as a vegan ! (It is also my boyfriend's first time too ;)) And, with that being said, I have done quite a bit of research to find the best and most delicious vegan alternatives on the market. I had been a vegetarian for about 10 years, and that meant I could eat all the sides that had dairy and eggs, so I never really felt like I would be missing out.  But now as a vegan, most everything is out of the picture!  --- None of my mother's infamous mac n'cheese, no green bean casserole, and definitely not any homemade apple pies. --- So what is a girl to do? I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options that I found in my local supermarket. Sprouts Farmers Market had a whole section for just vegan Thanksgiving items! To help you guys out, here are the best of the best!  *I found many of these items at Safeway, Whole Foods, and Sprouts Farmers Markets* Roasts Field Roast Celebration Roast This

More Summer Smoothie Bowls :)

This summer, I am all about smoothie bowls.  You can literally toss every fruit you want (frozen of course) into the blender with a cup of non-dairy milk and voila!  A beautiful smoothie bowl :) But, in case you need a little guidance, this is what I put in mine! - 2 frozen bananas   - 1 cup frozen strawberries - 1/2 cup frozen peaches   - 1 cup grapes  - 1 cup almond milk  Topped with hemp seeds, chia seeds, shredded coconut, and fresh berries! Enjoy! Let me know if you try it :)  xo Danielle   :)
